Stunning lodge with stone exteriors, overlooking watering holes frequented by elephants. A perfect blend of safari vibes and modern comforts. West Africa's first luxury safari lodge. Conveniently located near Tamale airport. Free parking and WiFi available. Standout feature is the pool with a view. Comfy tent with TV and restaurant on-site.
Such a pity that my stay had to end.

Exterior surfaces of the lodge were faced in native stone, giving it a unique and authentic feel. It was like staying in a castle built by Mother Nature herself.
Safari costs seemed exorbitant.

The big shower and luxurious eco-friendly amenities are jaw-dropping. The food is fantastic - quality is more important than quantity. The room at Zaina Lodge was like a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. I loved the private bathroom with a luxurious bath, where I could unwind and pamper myself with the provided slippers and free toiletries. It made me feel like a pampered traveler in my own little sanctuary.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the private bathroom having only a bath. But hey, I know some people might appreciate the chance to soak and relax after a long day.

Maybe it's just me, but I could have done without the slippers.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as lukewarm buffet food and limited cocktail options, the positives outweighed the negatives. I highly recommend this lodge for an lovely and serene getaway.

The decor at Zaina Lodge is simply exquisite. Every corner showcases tasteful African-inspired design, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas, such as the reception and lounge area, are spacious and beautifully decorated, making it a pleasure to relax and spend time there. As a senior woman, I truly appreciate that the hotel is easily accessible, with ramps and elevators available throughout the property. It's wonderful to see the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put into making the stay comfortable for all guests.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is that the children working there could be more attentive and helpful. Sometimes, I felt that they were slightly distracted and not as attentive to our needs as I would have hoped.
